I really need to replace my door knob…the one on the exterior you grab to shut the door. It has turned green and gross looking from my hand sweat. I saw a black colored replacement one somewhere just cannot find it now.
Anyone know what that part is called? Here is a picture but I’m not referring to the black leather arm rest but again the handle up front from it thanks.

The one in this picture looks gross just like mine as well.

Have you checked Hollander Parts? You can probably find an entire door panel on there for cheap.

I went ahead and ordered the black leather red stitching from them as that part of my door is pretty messy looking as well:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/RED-STITCH...-COVER-FITS-TOYOTA-TACOMA-05-15-/353068958280

Yes that is perfect. I also found a Velcro wrap on eBay from JF Customs here:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/RED-STITCH...RS-FITS-TOYOTA-TACOMA-2005-2015-/392788034760

Kinda pricey considering it is just a wrap but looks fresh.

I think I might go with the one you gave me in the link though…but that red stitching really adds some flair to my doors…it’s the little details that really matter in this World. :cool:Thanks again.

I was going to ask if you cleaned it. I use simple green on all my interior door panels and they come nice and clean

I have simple green never thought of trying it. I am now really liking the idea of going with black leather colored options now though. My middle console is all green too so simple green should clean that as well…already put a cheap black leather padded top on it already that is waterproof and is nice and soft feeling when I rest my arm on it. :)

It is the little things like this in life that bring me so much joy.

Yes its wipes so easy to use . Works well cleaning anything . Even greasy hands after working on cars .
Guys at work were using it but never tried . One day went to napa to buy battery and died there . Went in looking for something to clean hands and picked up tub o towels. Sold on it since then.

Just clean it. Plenty of cleaners that will do a great job.

I already cleaned it with simple green and it worked but I ordered a black leather cover to replace it with as I’m liking this whole new black against grey theme I’m going with now. :)

Plus me being over 200 pounds I cracked the handle from adjusting myself when I go to sit…so I’m pulling out the handle and will be using some kind of concrete glue to fix it so I no longer feel that soft hole where my elbow sits. Lol
