    What have you done to the extra button on your Auto Trans Double Cab Tacoma? I love the power sliding rear window button but like they say, "All holes filled."

    I'll get around to investigating one of these days.

    Get a momentary N.O. switch and a garage opener.
    Pop out the remote plastic cover, tap 12 v to to accessories power so no battery needed in remote anymore.
    Then connect momentary switch to the push switch on the remote control. Now you can use momentary switch to open garage door.

    For advance users:
    Shorted switch on remote control and use 12vdc battery at the momentary switch. Doing so will allow you to open garage door without power on the truck.
    Also get a small few feets solid wire, solder to antenna trace so you can increase the range of the remote control.
    Yes, I did it on 3 vehicles in my house since Y2k,, better than homelink (distance).

    Edit: go to the Technical Chat section, OEM Looking Garage Door Button/Opener Hack. I just ordered the switch from Air on board to do this for my Tacoma to make the mod. Switch cost me $20 but that's a lot cheaper than getting a homelink mirror!
    All done! Works great.

    I'm looking into a mod that adds a flip-down license plate. Revealing a machine gun. Then the back-up camera gets crosshairs to help your aim. Take that bumper riding bitches! *cue 007 theme song*
