If its going to be a dedicated tow rig...why the lift? I feel like that would make towing a little more difficult..especially that much lift.

Its got the POS 6.0L and its lifted, so I say no.

edit: look for a stock ford diesel 2001 or older with the 7.3L

I'd use it for towing an off road truck, and its just sweet! My friend has a 4" lift 7.3L and he uses it towing all the time

    well a few questions.
    1. what are you towing?
    2. you going to fly to Texas and get it?
    3. what is the rating on that engine? (how miles till it blows up)

okay, then I just wouldn't get it for the motor, especially with that one modded. The 6.0 isn't that bad in stock form, but when you mod them reliability goes down the drain, plus it has 181k miles on it.

Car trailers and farming equipment and sometimes horse trailers and i was going to fly. but i have been discouraged from research, here and friends saying not to get the 6.0
I thought the 6.0 wasnt too bad but my friend sugested not to. On his 7.3 he's had 4" lift and 37" MT's for 200k

The 6.0s are known to self destruct. the charge cooler clogs in the intake manifold and wreaks havoc. Not saying all of them, but it does happen fairly often.

The only problem with that Cummins is the Dodge around it.
