SOLD 3-way speakers in 05-09 taco-tunes mounts access cab

I finally bought more travel trailer than my Tacoma could handle so I had to replace her. Have a few items that I grabbed out before the trade-in that should find new homes among Tacoma fans.

Set of Pioneer TS-A1671R 6 1/2" 3-way speakers in 2005-2009 Taco Tunes Access cab rear door mounts.

Set of Pioneer TS-G950M 6x9 3-way speakers in 2005-2009 Taco Tunes front door mounts The mounts were originally made for 6 1/2" speakers, and I then enlarged the openings to take the 6x9 speakers. (Hence the ugly spots in the plastic)

New ********* mounting kit will run you $104, and new Pioneer 3-ways would be about $200.

Would like to get $175 shipped but make an offer,not willing to split the set at this time.

What kind of head unit did you run with these? May have some interest.

Will this fit in a double cab too?

 

Consulting the ********* website, the mounts look similar, but the mounting points seem to be more relieved on the double cab kit. I can not say for sure, but it looks like they might with longer bolts or some modification to the mounts. The head unit would fit either cab configuration without a problem.

I have a pioneer nave also, how much improvement do those speakers make over stock?

 

I considered the sound to be dramatically improved over stock, clear and deep bass response, crisp and clear treble and also a solid mid range. They allowed the volume to be much higher without distortion, once you open your doors and see the stock speakers (paper cone and a magnet the diameter of a quarter) you will understand why.
