Hey guys I just installed a drop in k&n filter and a flowmaster super 44 with a stright back tail pipe on my '98 2.7 and it opened up the truck perfectly. (well at least I think it did) Its not a real powerful truck to start with but it seems to get up and go much better now and isn't very choppy when your down shifting anymore. I decided not to put a high flow cat in cause I wasn't sure if it would decrease the back pressure too much cause I went from the stock 2.25 exhaust to a 2.75 super 44 muffler. It give it a great sound too, not very loud at all but great for a 2.7 haha. anyways just thought I'd tell you all about this incase you were tryin to upgrade but were not sure what might be a good way to go.
