I tried to remove factory breather with the 14 mm wrench but the nut is not strong enough and now it is slippy that I can't remove. I did try 13 mm but it won't fit in. Any idea

Vice grips or a pipe wrench will do it, or some channel locks, whatever you have available

    Slippy? How about rounded off?

    Vice grips at this point.

Tried pipe piler but it got worse. I go to a hardware store and get vice grips. Yes rounded off. It is overtightened already.

Yes. Make sure you get flat jaw not the rounded ones.

I would get one of each. I've had better luck with the rounded jaw pliers.
Make sure they are genuine Vise Grip pliers. The imitators suck.

Look up Vampire Tools. They make a line of tools for this. I can’t count the times I have had to pull fasteners so idiot had stripped.

Use a 6 point, not a 12 point socket? May be too late...

That is bs. That wont budge when I used vise grip. Someone overtightened it at a factory. It has less than 4 k miles and it is only a year old. I had no issue with the nut in my 4runner before.

Here is the pic I got it from harbor freight. I used the largest grip but the nut kept worse. New pic added. It is messed up.

Looks like the hole keeps getting deeper. Find a socket that is slightly smaller than the rounded breather and hammer it in. Then unscrew it loose like a goose.

as others have said... vise grips 100% will get that out. I’m assuming you’re replacing it anyways... don’t worry about ruining it.
