    This is the method i use to flush the power steering .
    I plug the return port on the reservoir
    i then hook up a 12 volt oil change pump to the reservoir return line and the output to a pop bottle.
    Once i turn it on I then keep adding new fluid to the reservoir until the fluid going into the pop bottle is new and clear.
