    Evening everyone,

I was curious if dealerships can install LED headlights and foglights on a truck that doesn't normally come with them? I'll be getting an SR5, which that's not an option on. Also, if anyone knows, what sort of pricing do they get on those? May price myself out of the market before I even ask them about them! Thanks in advance, and I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

If you're talking about Toyota ones (like that on OR/Sport/Pro) probably not, they aren't exactly plug n play on SR5's but maybe, the labor cost would probably be what the actual lights cost. Never hurts to ask em. Dealer pricing I've seen for the Toyota models have been anywhere from $1400 (usually a sale price of some sort) to 1700ish, just shop around.

Oh and also the SR5 *I THINK* has a different light switch than models with LED's, i'm not terribly sure on that tbh. The LED light switch has a switch for DRL (that can be on or off) where SR5 is DRL/Auto, it will work (there are people here who've installed the headlights on their SR5, there's a couple member/s that sell plug n play harness's for that) but the dealer may swindle you on that or add it to a reason the install can't be done.

Factory LED headlights, no. The wiring harness is different. You can buy an adapter harness someone on TW makes (there's a whole thread on doing this) but a dealer can't do it. Just the headlights are $1200-$1400 for the pair (yikes). If you decide to get the adapter harness and do it yourself, note that the mounting tabs for the headlights are notorious for getting broken during shipping. So make sure you buy from a dealer with a good return policy.

Not sure about the LED foglights. They probably physically fit but don't know if the connector is the same.

The LED headlights are really good.

Cool, thank you both. Sounds like if I really want them, I should just get a trim package that has them as an actual option! Guess I don't need them bad enough to pay that much! LOL

I have a SR5. The stock headlights aren’t great. I upgraded the stock halogens to the SYLVANIA SilverStar Ultra H11 halogens. It made a huge difference and I’m happy for the relatively cheap and easy upgrade. Lots of halogen options out there to help you see better but they won’t look as cool as the factory LED package. But performance can be improved on the SR5 with little effort and cost. Good luck.
