I have an 06 tacoma dbl cab off road pkg. my question is would a 09 WMA MP3 6 disc HEAD UNIT plug and play on my 06. both are non jbl

Can't say if it would work, but IMO putting in a newer model year OEM HU is not an upgrade.

I had the 6-disc unit in my 08 and it was poo compared to the Pioneer HU I have now, and my Pioneer is not a high end unit.

yup it will work! i gave my 6 disc out of my 09 to my buddy when i put in my pioneer double din. it fit and works just fine in his 05 totally plug and play.
