Factory Tacoma Hard Trifold

Sorry if there’s already a thread for this, I couldn’t see if the question I have was already answered.
I bought a 2018 Double cab Tacoma limited with the roll up tonnopro. I found the factory Tacoma tri fold for $200- guy had already sold his truck and was selling the cover. I know a lot of people say you need the rails.. do my tonno rails not work? I saw a video were it looked like the plastic on the sides of the bed had cut outs and I’m not sure if mine do- do I need to swap that out as well? I’m just trying to figure out if I can make this work before I commit. Thanks in advance!

 

You could cut out your bed caps, but more importantly you need all the extra hardware shown in this video to make it work. It's just easier to swap bed caps so the mounting hardware fits.
