    Dont forget that the rear is only a privacy glass and doesnt protect against UV. Also.....dont forget to tint the largest piece of glass in the truck, the windshield. Just got mine done and loving it, llumar air blue 80 ceramic.

    Yeah it does! I just got it done so I'm still pretty excited about it lol. It's not even dark really (actually kinda wish it was about 10% lower vlt) but it cuts heat and glare a lot.

    @1bad2k

    Any legal issues with that front tint here in Texas? What does a shop charge for something like that?

    I don't think I'll have an issue, but my inspection is out this month. Planning on getting it inspected friday so message me and see how it went lol. I got a guy for that though if I need. The shop that did the windshield was a little under $200. I've seen other quote cheaper, but this is lifetime warranty and these guys do top notch work for us always.

    Taco has 20 on the sides 50 on the windshield, full ceramic. My 4Runner has 20 on the sides. Going wit 50 on the front also, will help blend everything and helps drastically for heat reduction and to cut sun light.

    I was thinking about doing the windshield on both trucks but I've already had some cracks from rocks on the windshield that I decided to hold off until my commute changes (too much road construction on my route). 35% Lumar CTX on the front windows.

    Residing in a city in Georgia where the cops pull you over for too dark windows and issue $175 violations for doing so, all it takes is two of these tickets and you wont go lower than the legal amount again...speaking from experience of course. Or you get real observant for spotting cops and real quick with dropping your power windows in an instant!

    35% on my 2 fronts. Keeps it legal and a close match to the stock rears. Paid $45.

    I actually tinted my taco twice. Initially I went with 20%(ceramic) all around, and wasn’t happy with it, it was too light. I went back about 5 months later and got them removed and went 5%(ceramic) all around with 40 or 50% on the windshield (can’t temwmeber) I’m much happier now. So don’t make the mistake I made and go with what you want initially and save a lot of money.
