Say has anyone purchased a used factory Toyota service manual available from "Factory Repair Manuals"? They list these as in good condition for $196. I paid for a PDF on a CD but found it to be disappointing and would like an actual factory manual for reference. Thanks all! Woodcutter

There’s one on eBay right now for $170. I’d jump on that. I bought mine for 180 on eBay. Very worth having

The official FSM doesn't have info to remove the bed. BUT here is some stuff for reference. Attached is the PDF page for fuel system components. Below is an image of the 6 bolt locations for the bed. I assume you are trying to replace the fuel pump? If so, just remove the 4 front bolts closest to cab and loosen the last 2 in the rear and you can lift the bed up by the cab without damaging anything and put a few 2/4s to hold it up to reach in there. I would get a friend to help.

Oh and dont forget to unbolt the filler neck from the filler door.

If you need to remove the bed completely for some reason then just make sure to unhook the harness from the tail lights/license plate light and such. then it's pretty simple to lift the entire thing off with help.

i was just curious about reinstallation, like the proper torque on the nuts & bolts :notsure: probably will get some fresh new ones

needing a complete & thorough frame coating restore, all old beaten failing paint and crust off and new heavy duty primer/paint coating
not sure about the fuel pump at 135k miles but fuel tank needs to come off to thoroughly clean that frame section in the rear, thats where it gets real from TW pics i have seen

thank you for the fuel tank diagram, downloaded and saved to folder
too bad there are no part #s on that as well

I would go with 67ft-lbs dry on all 6 bed mount bolts

Go to Partsouq.com and type in your VIN.

Then go to Body/interior and select Fuel Tank & Tube and Rear Body Mounting for your part numbers.
