factory warranty?

trying to get the absolute truth here...

is it true that if the 15k and 30k services are not performed at the dealer then the factory warranty for said vehicle is null and void?

i bought both our vehicles and the same dealer and both times was told this. anyone else hear of this or know of the validity in this statement?

 

Never heard of such a thing myself. Sounds like the stealership using that as a tactic to get you to use them for everything.

[FONT=&quot]The warranty is offered from the manufacturer, they dealership is nearly a means to sell the product thus having no right to force you to use them for service. If you do you own maintenance all that will happen when you take it in is they will see if the manufacturer is at fault or if the owner neglected something. Now dealerships go through this process on everything so don't worry about it. Beyond that any Toyota dealership can do your warranty work.[/FONT]
