I’ve been hearing great things about these tires. I have TRD sport wheels which are plasti dipped black and I really like the way they look but was considering having them powder coat (cheaper than new rims for now) to scrap the plasti dip and was wondering if anyone has Falken Wildpeaks AT3 on their stock rims? Curious If the tire stick out past the fender flares at all. Would love to see some pictures

Great tires at a very reasonable price. I will definitely buy them again...

No, they wont stick out on those stock wheels as long as you dont go bigger than a 265 Tread Width.

black powder coat would look so good on those wheels! great setup. Those Falkens are great tires!! You will love them. Go for it!

Have you considered Cerakote? More durable and be comparable in price. It's a Ceramic coat. I would go that route. Powdercoat tends to end up cracking from a little wear.

265 is the widest I can go on these 4Runner PRO wheels before the tire sticks out past the fenders and ruins the paint from throwing dirt up. Still have the stock OR wheels for the MTs

Thanks, being in Hawaii and their rules just wanted to make sure. I keep hearing great things and It looks like AMAZON will ship to Hawaii with prime for only 142 per tire.

Ceracote is an epoxy paint used primarily on firearms. You need to sandblast the part, spray the Ceracote, and bake to cure the paint.

Why pay to have the wheels powder coated if you're just going to replace them with aftermarket wheels at some point? I would save the money and put it towards a set of aftermarket wheels personally. Do whatever you want to do though, this is just something to think about.
