Life threw a curveball and I ended up quitting my job, selling our house and selling the 4Runner as well. I never really liked how the 4Runner with the sunroof had no headroom. Me being 6’3” that was a problem. I always wanted a GX470 and I settled on the 4Runner. Fast forward 1/2 a year and we just bought a 2005 GX470 sport. Super pumped to start moding this thing. Here she is.

It needed some tires so I went ahead and got some cooper A/Tw tires 265/70r17. I was tempted with the new at3 4s tires but they were a lot more expensive.

Finally got it out to Montana. I bet it’s the first time it’s ever seen snow. Also ordered some icon delta joint UCA’s

It started leaking oil like crazy out of the valve covers once it got to cold Montana. Ordered up a fel-pro gasket kit off of Amazon and replaced the old gaskets and spark plugs today. The most time consuming part was replacing the spark plug gaskets. They were brittle like plastic. Found out why they were leaking so much oil. The gaskets actually split. Spark plugs didn’t look bad for having 145k miles on them.
