Hope it all works out for you Derek. These were just what I was looking for. Don't stick out too much, but plenty of protection.

Put the sliders on today to check the fit and everything. 100% bolt on, Derek thought I might have to drill one hole driver side by the gas tank but it was good. No drill. He told me that this is the first Tacoma Reg Cab his sliders has been on.

Not painted yet. Going to have them sandblasted first. I have some other parts going to have painted at the same time. Might be a bit before these get put back on.

Waiting on a PM back from Dwreck but man I am excited to get them home, painted, and bolted on. I really don't like the look of the factory tube steps so this should be a good upgrade!

Well I guess I need to update. I got the sliders in last Friday at Fastenal. The Fastenal guy had no idea what they were and kept asking me questions haha.

I want to thank Dwreck again for the great customer service! I think I'm going to line-x them since a buddy of mine does it for a living. I'll update with some pics here soon!

Are the sliders out far enough to use as a step?

I keep holding out on buying some sliders, hoping these things will go back into production.

EDIT: Just to be clear, the dents you see are from before sliders were installed, Derek's gives a good coverage area, stays pretty tight to the truck but enough to use as a small step...again, great..

Ditto- I'm kicking myself for not buying them earlier; I'm not overly enthusiastic about getting a weld on set
