    Happy Father's Day to all.

I'm in the process of installing Wheeler's HD 3-leaf AAL. Directions read that the long section of AAL should be to the rear of the truck. As I'm finishing up on the last side I noted that the longest of the 3 leaves is oriented correctly, but the other 2 leaves are set with the long end facing forward. I'm 99% sure I installed them in the same order as I received them. Anyone out there willing to crawl under their truck and check if this is correct? Wheeler's isn't open today and I have the truck parked 1/2 way into the garage. Not a good idea to leave the garage open all night.

Thanks for the reply, Large. Seems that I flunked Tape Measure 101.
The leaves all appear in the proper orientation once I took the time to re-measure. I just gave in to panic too easily. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Seeing how 2nd gens are centerpin to eyeletts equal distance & 1st gens are eliptical (short end of spring to front hanger/longer end to rear shackle) I don't know why you have the offset springs to start with, not familiar with Wheelers AAL...

The long side of all 3 leafs is to the rear.

Oh trust me , I get the how-to's Mine is a "Why they do that?" They're putting an eliptical spring app on a non eliptical design meaning the main leaf should be offset as well...& my other question is in this pic where tightening, how can you be sure the head of centerpin isn't spinning underneath seeing how its now inside the axle perch.. ??

    1. I don't design this crap dude. I am only telling you that the long sides go to the rear. I am currently running AllPro Expos now so I don't really care but just wanted to help this guy out while he was stuck with a truck up on jackstands.

    2. Please note the vice grips in the picture above...They are holding the centering pin...And then that shit stripped and was replaced by a nice bolt so I could use a wrench which was nice.
