Let's not gloss over Little Whip here, arguably the best.

    Love Invocation on 3

Go find Thrall-Demonsweatlive. That's another I love. That tells you where the purple flame idea came from

Oh I know demonsweat haha, the live version of mother is killer as is Its Coming Down. Gotta say I enjoyed some of the stuff off his recent cover album Skeletons.

Yeah I have. Not a big fan of the vocals. I think the problem is its really hard to get any better than AILD. They were the first band I ever saw live and I guess I don't like change. Haha.

Yeah. The new clean only vocals put off some AILD fans for sure. I actually like it more than AILD. But...to each his own. Tim Lambesis will probably put together some new band when he gets out of prison. You'll have to go to wherever he is on house arrest because state to state travel probably won't be allowed....... Dude is an idiot.

I agree. It's such a shame to see such great talent go to waste.

As in ranking of your favorites? I'd say 1 for me because Misfits chaneed my life. I was a metal head until I heard the misfits and now I'm way more into punk

Nvm I see what you're saying now. I'm not sure which album is my favorite, so many good songs on various albums. I really like the lost tracks album. But out of all of danzig albums including misfits and samhain I'd probably say Initium

That's interesting cause I went from punk, to glam metal, then back to punk and power/thrash metal.

Ever heard of Texas Hippie Coalition? They are all big dudes and opened for Danzig at the show I went to in Houston

I've seen the name but I'm not familiar with their music.

All the bands which I like have been mentioned above.

    I like

    Killswitch Engage
    Pantera
    Atreyu
    Metallica
    Periphery
    Mastodon
    Sevendust
    In Flames
    Testament
All That Remains (despite their recent softer albums)

I have recently been becoming more at peace with the fact that as I grow older and a little more mature so do my favorite bands, and with that being said, their musical style changes, I can always appreciate a band which went from screaming throughout all their songs and changed it up to a bit more melodic and even progressive. I appreciate all the forms of metal these days.

I guess I'd say it's stoner metal given the name and the abreviation is THC lol. My buddy used to play em on his stereo when we lifted weights.

I never got too into em. But another buddy recommended em when he heard me listening to The Other. He said that they sounded like Type O meets the Misfits. I still need to check em out for myself
