This can go in a million directions. Honestly what is the goal to just have it shine, or be seriously protected?

You might find our detailing forum interesting. It's where all the chatter about this kind of stuff is.

Look for some threads / posts by @Too Stroked in there.

I was curious about this one. I just got the liquid wax but haven’t used it yet cause the truck been pretty garage kept lately.

I use all Blackfire and Pinnacle Black Label Products on my truck. I ceramic coat the wheels, all the black trim, and use Blackfire Paint Sealant on the whole truck. I wash it about once every 2 weeks as nothing sticks to it so it doesn't take much to clean. I always use my Leaf Blower to remove all water in every crevice, then use a Spray Sealant to keep the shine up. I use a Griot's Garage G9 Polisher with 5.5 inch pads and use a Swirl Remover once a year, then I polish twice a year.IMG_20200524_121245_428.jpg

Don't use wax anymore. Every time i did a nice carnauba wax job, it'd rain and you'd see withe residue everywhere. Seem ed i could never completely eliminate this. Had this ceramic glass treatment job done months ago. Problem solved.

I used Colonite for the first time a few weeks ago and I like the results. I tend to try different waxes/polishes every few years but have always gone back to Mother's and Maguire's products. If I want to do a quick job I will use Turtle Wax Ice spray.

Sucks that summer is nearing an end as far as being able to spend hours cleaning the truck outside. My Dad used to have a floor drain in his heated garage and I would always take my cars there to wash/wax during the winter months.

I'm a big Meguiar's fan. One advantage of owning a chain of auto parts stores for many years is that you get to try about every auto care product there is.

I like Griots products for polishing and sealing. Use a Griots G8/G9. Then normally put Meguirs Ultimate wax and stack Beadmaker on top. Works well me and like the ease of use. 23D0DA89-033F-4A68-B032-7AFD2390484E.jpg325BD168-62C0-4487-B441-7C9017E2C329.jpg 57DE92DC-3798-4EAC-B7E6-BF1120FF7C1D.jpg

Personally I like Griots paint sealant. Super easy to put on and remove.

I’ve been hooked on Topcoat F11 for a while now. Pricey, but it applies insanely fast and easy, plus it works awesome and lasts a lot longer than wax. Best part is you don’t have to worry about getting it on black plastic or rubber.
