Pretty sure that one is mostly hype, I can't recall many people recommending it. Apex Detail does A LOT of product reviews and I don't think he recommended it either and he usually doesn't find too many that are bad enough to not recommend.

It’s super expensive but a little goes a long way. If nothing else it’s worth it to me for the fact I can do an entire vehicle in about 20 minutes. And I used to have an 05 Sequoia (huge) lol.

It definitely lasts at least as long as regular wax, longer in my experience. But, no, it’s also not exactly the miracle product they claim it is.

I came across a comparison video with it and a couple of other Facebook products. It performed the worst of the 3. I will see if I can find the link. Ultimately TopCoat is more of glaze and with minimal protection and durability.

Interesting. Seems like a fair review.

I’ll reiterate I’m partial to topcoat for its ease of use, but that video does have me considering The Last Coat. After watching I was 100% ready to buy some of that Nova Jet he’s using, but holy.... $130 a bottle?!?

I had never heard of Nova Jet. I am assuming it’s not a domestic product.

There are plenty of easy to use products out there and last longer. Especially since the spray on, rinse off products have come along.

Nova is an Australian brand, the Youtube channel you posted earlier (Car Craft Auto) uses a lot of their products. He seems to praise them quite highly like CarPro which he also seems to be a fan of. He mentions that there are few other brands available over there that we see commonly sold at places like Autogeek here in the US.

I am new to this site but not to detailing. Along with Colinite 845, I also like bead maker (depending on what step you are in with your paint) and most of all I like Soft99 King of Gloss. For protection I use their FUSSO coat with a true 8 month life span. They say 12 month but I have never gone that long without reapplying because...I'm a detailer! I must add that I usually am polishing or correcting with a DA before applying these products. I don't do if for a living, just our personal cars.

I use Carpro Hydro II sealant with P&S Beadmaker as a topper/gloss enhancer. The Hydro II is a liquid spray SI02 based product that you mist onto wet paint, then immediately power wash off. You should get about 6 months of protection out of each application, and you can't find anything easier to apply. No rubbing, no buffing. Mist it on, spray it off, and dry your vehicle. That's it. After about 1 week of curing (way more than enough time), I apply P&S Beadmaker. I use it like a quick detail spray, and it adds a bit of protection, but it's real purpose is the added shine it will give to your base layer of protection. It's been around for a few years now and most professional detailers that have tested it say it has one of the highest levels of reflection of anything available on the market. It's generally accepted that Beadmaker will last for roughly 6 weeks before needing to be reapplied. After the first application, I use it as a drying aid for my regular maintenance washes. Just mist it over the wet paint and dry as you would normally do. It helps the drying process and adds a fresh layer of protection and shine every time you wash. AND it smells great !!
