Make sure to vote for the date(s) that work best for you. If you have a suggestion for where to meet on the east side, (Kirkland-Bellevue-Redmond), post them up!

As always, feel free to set-up trail runs in the monthly meet thread. Once you've gained some interested parties, originator should create a PM so y'all can hash out details, etc. I will also keep an eye out for any trail-runs that have their own thread and post a link to the monthly meet OP.

I’m pretty familiar with Okanogan. Going in at Boulder Cr.(NF 37) which a couple miles north of Winthrop and driving to Loomis is a really sweet drive. Ive seen all kinds of critters Moose,Bears,Bighorn Sheep, Deer. At the top you tie into part of the Washington BDR. It’s all Forest Service Rds though so not much of a “trail run” it’s around 50 miles of dirt from black top to black top.253D778A-1D1C-49AF-A959-E79FBBCADF1B.jpg

Yea, I love that area. There are trails called Green Dots that have been some of my favorite places to explore. Given that it is a decent drive for a lot of us, and still "winter", I'd suggest maybe doing a weekend trail run out there later in the season.

(camped out there once in January and holy shit balls I don't think I've ever been so cold in my life despite the multiple layers and standing almost in the fire.)

There's also a thread floating around for July, @PacNW_Taco wants to do a WABDR run.

I wouldn’t even try to get up there until the middle of summer. I think Tiffany peaks is around 6,500’ and it takes a bit to get the snow off. I was up there Labor Day weekend a couple years ago it was 103* at 2:00pm and 28* in the morning. I’ve inadvertently done a few sections of the WABDR out and about exploring not even knowing it was a thing until a few months ago. That area is some of the most beautiful country this State has to offer in my opinion. Salmon La sac is a really close second and I can’t wait to go on a trail run up there. I have my truck built enough to where I feel like it’s an asset and not a liability on a run. It’s time to enjoy some of the fruit from the labor and go mob around with the TW crowd. I’m pretty freaking excited for this year.

Lol, that’s how it starts. 33’s are only about $30 a tire more but you need a lift... then you get ballsy and get stuck out by yourself and decide you need a winch... but then you drop onto your back bumper and tear it up so it needs a high clearance... then you get tired of bumming air off people airing up and need a compressor... it never stops:goingcrazy:

Important Update: The Caskey / Darrington Power Lines area is CLOSED.

The Department of Natural Resources has announced that they are closing off access to the Darrington Power Lines area.

    Signs have been posted.
A DNR crew who was onsite there spoke with some users and told them anyone caught on the property will face criminal trespass prosecution.
    Gates will be installed soon.

    thanks for ideas!
Sumerian is a great brewery, but doggos only allowed outside (since they sell food in house). And given the time of year, chances are it'll be raining, but will keep in mind for summertime!
sooo.... gonna go with Flycaster since according to the google dogs are allowed inside.
