FED EX /WALGREENS lost by rear brakes, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

So I bought rear brake parts from @gunny1005. He was excellent and delivered to my house Friday (veterans day weekend). 11/10.

Due to me being out of town last minute, I went on FED EX, and asked them for LOCAL HOLD at their location.

So now it says the brake parts are at hold at their location (Walgreens Pharmacy is the hold location).

I went there Saturday to pick it up, and Walgreens says they can't locate it, and can't find it!

I was livid and escalated to Walgreens manager, and they say "oh we sent the package back"

I asked for proof of them sending it back, and she says "fed ex driver was in a hurry and didn't scan it."

I sat at the store and talked to FED EX. FED EX is insisting WALGREENS has it, and never sent it back.

WALGREENs says its not their problem.

What should I do ?

 

It's FedEx ground so you're in a pickle. I don't know why some venders use this carpet bagging scabby shipping service.

The thing that bothers me, is the package was held at FED EX AUTHORIZED location. It wasn't held at my neighbors who stole it!!!

How can WALGREENS just lose the package?

And FED EX has no PROOF of it???


The reason I didn't have it laying at my door for 4 days while I was out, was that in case someone took it.

Now someone from the authorized holding center, took it

 

File a claim with Fed Ex, and go back to Walgreens and have the individual who claimed Fed Ex did not scan it sign a statement and provide their employee number and the managers contact information. If Walgreens and Fed ex have an agreement, they both need to deal with
Document and escalate as needed.

 

Just spent an hour with FED EX on phone.

They WILL NOT TAKE A CLAIM FROM ME>

I have to call @gunny1005 and give them my case number, and Gunny has to file the claim.

Which makes no sense.

VENDOR SENT PACKAGE
I (CONSUMER) RECEIVED NO PACKAGE.

Walgreens says they are not responsible.

FED EX says Walgreens gave it to someone else.


WTF?

I have the walgreen employee number and manager number, since I was there another hour as well.

 

I just refunded your money thru PayPal. I will take care of FedEx....

Lesson learn here, only trust legit fedex locations and not these 3rd party locations for dropoff. I had a mac book pro delivered to a legit fedex because I was not about to lose this bad boy and no way in hell was I going to trust 3r party locations.

Have FedEx investigate because it was lost on their locations and delivery guys. I know its the holiday season and they need to make the delivery time but they also have to make up for lost packages. If it were delivered to your home you probably would've called it a lost because they might not be helpful.

Also they were not suppose to "return to sender" until a certain given time.

My issue is where are the parts ?

And why is fed ex not taking responsibility for their own location ?!

 

If @gunny1005 sold turkeys for Thanksgiving I would buy 3 of them

 

I didn’t know the fed ex location is 3rd party or not

When I went to “hold at fed ex” location I didn’t see if it was 3rd party or not

I couldn’t tell

When I went to pick up, I saw it was not a fed ex location

 

I am not sure why they causing such a headache..
I have a connection with FedEx and I will voice yours and my concerns about this.
I normally don't have any issues with them..

 

I don't understand why FedEx would leave a package at Walgreens. Seems really sloppy of them.

 

I have never had an issue

Bought tons of Apple products recently and tons of rock auto parts no issues

However I have never had these issues before either

This is not your fault at all

Just that it’s a fed ex location and neither want to take reponsibility

 

walgreens, 3rd party. as i stated they were suppose to hold the package for a certain amt of days before sending it back

 

In this zip code it’s the only “authorized fed ex hold location”
