I haven't looked into it but I don't see why not! Shipping will be paid for by the customer so as long as I can figure out the logistics and you are willing to pay for the shipping then hell yeah!

I dont have a topper or tonneau so I would also be a good tester on the weatherproofness of the system

I am following the thread, the work looks nice and I may be in the market once I get my camper installed. I would love to DIY but just dont have a place (aka shop or enclosed area) or the tools to do something with this level of craftsmanship so A nice semi diy/put together kit is a good balance for people like me.

Very cool build, but that has to weigh a ton compared to a decked system no?

Comparable or less weight, Decked is 205 lbs for short bed and 229 lbs for long bed. My current system with with the dual slides is 152 lbs.

    Above info from Decked.

I like the cutouts for bed stiffeners! Do different brands of stiffeners vary much in size? Im guessing not, but worth considering on the off chance they do.

That's a good question, do you have a brand other than Total Chaos? Would you be willing to measure them for me?

Another point, I just saw this is in the 3rd gen forum.. Will this system be compatible with the 2nd gens? Beds are the same as far as I know, but figured I'd ask

Beds haven't changed since 2005 from my understanding but I need to check that with some of my locals. I also need to get this linked in the second gen guys as well. I need a mods help for that I suppose.

Op, have you considered just selling the plans for this? That way would be another option for the more handy TW'ers.

The only stiffeners that are much different are the cali raised and they have a bottom edge to them. Personally I'm going to get either total chaos or at the helm.
