well, that cheap kit didn't bounce all over annoyingly. I'm a fan of TRS, but that bounce is annoying and I've debated taking them out, only issue is mounting them in a G8 is a pain in the ass, and removing them will be just as much.

Right, that's what you mentioned before. Many cheap kits have built in "buffers" so that they appear more compatible with more vehicles, and thus they can sell more of them.

Think a Mitsubishi Mirage versus a Rolls Royce. Cheap and reliable vs pricey and full of unique stuff.

I'm not seeing how that matters? Wouldn't pricey and full of unique stuff mean full of something that doesn't fucking bounce around like a bag of dicks?

Are you picking up what I am putting down? So the bounce wasn't found? Or not having to do with your kit? Because my other bulbs didn't bounce, they plug in like a halogen bulb, the connection didn't change...I mean, the bounce was a big enough issue to bring out a new product to the market for the Tacoma, right?

I just installed a cheaper Amazon HID kit yesterday in lows and and fogs and no bounce at all, even going through cracked pot hole filled streets.

However I did swap out the rubber grommets with the OEM ones.

LEDs DRL, inside outside/ Scan guage II/ Cipa mirror with Ram Mount/ Tech Deck/ Head Waters Seat covers (Kryptek) / De Badged / Heated Seats / Bak Flip bed cover / Pop & Lock and hose clamp /
After looking at the spec sheet for these and this quote. My question is>>> High beam is the two LEDs and low is one? ErGo 2500/5000 Lumi? OR are these both working and they are "dimmed" with both lights working?
FYI>> I am comparing to my PIAA (similar proce point) bulbs which I am very happy with BUT run LEDs everywhere else.

I'm thinking 5000 lumens is including both bulbs at 2500 lumens each...

I'm interested, but would need to know how they compare to the stock bulbs since that's what I'm coming from. What is the color range of these? It seems the Cree website has a range that the can fall into. I'll wait to see if there is more detailed information on this before jumping the gun on it. They look nice though.

I'd be definitely interested as long as the bounce issue is resolved and if the light output is noticeably better than halogen. I agree on the side by side comparison, no matter which way you put it, this is still $100+ on 2 light bulbs...

I'm currently running the VLED's LMZ 4500 lumen bulbs in my high beams! So how do we go about ordering these for my low beams cause if they are 5k per bulb I'm gonna order me a set so i can get rid of all that hid wiring & ballasts!

Cause the Morimoto HID's at 50w only produce 4200 lumens at 4500k temperature!
