I've seen threads for damn near everything out there but who out there are my fellow reptile fans and herpotolgists?

I am born and raised in southern Arizona and have had my fair share of snake, tortoise and lizard in my care. At one time I had over 16 separate species of snake in my care. I've had Hognose. CA King, Scarlet King, Gopher, Corn, Columbian Red Tail, ball python and even a coral in my care.

My red tail was about 7' long and I handled her as much as I could, quite a docile snake, so much so I could take her to my classes in high school and she would chill in my pack.

I wish I had pictures of her and the others but I don't, I'm looking though.

So, who out there are fellow snake, lizard, tortoise and reptile fans?

Ironic that this thread starts on National Invasive Species Week (NISAW)!
Please be careful with exotic pets and plants. There are a number of ecological disasters costing us millions of dollars annually that can be attributed to careless handling of exotic organisms by well meaning enthusists. Good luck!

Grew up in southern Arizona with them all around the desert by the house. Always thought they were cool animals. Sooner or later if like to get another Red Tail

I know there are a few churches in Appalachia that are into snakes.

I have a few snakes left from my collection, a children's python and a dumeril's boa, both of which are about 18+ years old now.

    I wanted an MT.
I am a snake guy... I don't keep them As pets but I am like the local snake wrangler... And being from the Appalachian region of the country, I'll look over the church comment... Those folks are fanatics...I removed a ton of black rat snakes this spring, we normally see our poisonous snakes in The fall when they are are getting ready to hibernate... We have a large population of timber rattlers near me at a state park/forest...

I don't keep any herps but I do enjoy spending time looking for them in the field. Here's an adult female Timber Rattlesnake and some newborn babies in Wisconsin.

Anyone know what this is? A quick Google search makes me think Gopher, but wanted to check so I could read about it. Moved it from near the house to a field. It was just a baby.
