My 2015 Fender flare is starting to show its age. The edges of the protector seem to have a residue that looks like baked on oil around the edges. Below is a photo of what I am experiencing. I tried scrubbing it with different brushes and cleaners with no luck. Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance

Just peel those off plastic razor and a hair dryer on high or heat gun on low
you’ll have both sides off in less than 15 minutes. Really no way to clean those, and I believe you can buy aftermarket ones out those come off

Took me 20 minutes long as you have a good source of heat as I used to heat gun on low and didn’t put it too close literally once that thing that’s coming off the plastic raise I just peels it right off I think I have to go back three times to get the whole thing off on each side you’ll be ok

now is the time to remove them before they get worse. Mine were cracked and baked on so it took a lot of effort to remove. I then ended up painting my fender flares with raptor liner and I've been happy with my decision

Yes, and I would highly recommend replacing them instead of just removing them. They may look ugly after a number of years, but it's better than rock chips that require a body shop to repair.

You don't happen to have a part number, do you?

Everyone, thank you for your input - I have decided to take them off and replace them. I did find these part numbers - however the fitment years are only marked 2005. I need to double check them. I imagine they will work on a 2015 as they are both 2nd Generation trucks. As much as I hate to do it - I will suck it up and double check with a dealership or local body shop.

If it helps: I found these showing 2007-2015 and fit confirmed when I put in the specs for my 2014.
