Fernley, Reno 11/20 report

    so i took the old man to reno this weekend and decide to do a little wheeling, meet up with the reno 4x4 group and we hit up Fernly.

    the drive there was miserable

    ran outta gas driving 30 mph in the snow for 3 hours

    i was not happy

    i was a lil busy trying not to crap my pants so i didnt take many pics i will add later from the reno4x4 trip report thread but here are some i took

    the weather really sucked it was cold and snowing, i had to wear three jackets.

    finished the run and headed to the hotel to catch some needed zzzs

    It was fun, the whole trail is a series of obstical, so you drive a little on dirt road, hit one obstical, there were 6 obsticals, some easy but most of them are hard

    Yeah my dad did he went there to gamble and watch football lol which is why i went to reno in the first place wheeling is just a bonus, can't say no to free gas and not wheel.

    downey mid travel 2wd set up
    reno 4x4 is a cool group, i've wheeled with them on moonrocks, bronco canyon, school bus and a couple other canyons in the area. Tough trails and some really nice rigs in that group. That jeep commando looks tits, any more pics of it?

    They're definately the folks to hit up if your in reno itching to wheel

    LOVE that jeepster.

    And natrually the xj owns it like a boss... Looks cold, but fun. Looking forward to some fresh snow for snow runs up icehouse road and morman immigrant trail.
