Ok recently I got a pretty good sized dent on my passenger side front fender. I'm currently running a mid travel setup and my front tires just barely stick out past the stock fenders. I was not planning on fixing the dent but the paint has begun to chip so now I'm concerned that it may begin to rust. I am considering upgrading to 35's from my current 33's next time around. My thought is going with glass to help clear the 35's but cant find any pictures of glass that looks good with a Mid Travel setup.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to look for a milder set of glass? If you could please post pictures or links. Thanks.

There is Mcneil which makes a 3" bulge 3" rise flared fender for our trucks. That would be the first route i would suggest being that it is one of the mildest I have seen out there

The next one would be Glassworks (which I do not recommend simply because of his horrible customer service, which I might add has been well documented on top of my own testimony.) They have a 4" flare and 3" rise. Either way, backspacing plays a huge role on whether or not the stance will look correct or not. I am running a 2.5" backspacing rim in the front for my Glassworks fenders. 4.5 BS for the actual rim and 2 additional inches from billet aluminum Bora hubcentric/lugcentric spacers. If you have to space out the rims at all, be aware you may have to do a cab mount chop as well. It's all relevant if you want the front to look correct. I hope this helps.

I've currently got 4.5 backspacing and have already done a cab mount chop to clear my 285/70/18's. Don't really like the idea of having to use spacers to essentially just achieve the looks I'd like to get.

If I have to use spacers I may just keep looking for a used front fender in silver to replace the dented one.

The Mcneil would be the best fit for you then. The 1" of bulge that it lacks compared to the glassworks fenders coupled with your thickness tires and the backspacing being the same as mine was will make for a perfect "stance" even with the baja fenders. I am running 265/75/16, so I needed the extra backspacing to achieve the look otherwise the lack of tire compared to yours as well as the backspacing would not look right. Yours should be tucked into the fenders perfectly with the Mcneil's.

I will say though the extra backspacing the new "spacers" provided me also gave me a whole new feeling of better stability in cornering. The spacers are fine. They are not washer style "spacers," more like an extension of the hub as a whole. An all new face for the rim to mount on. This is what they look like if you do end up considering them as an option.

Trailer products makes a 2x3 set of glass, also you'll need more than that to clear 35s with a MT setup.

Oh oops :D I totally missed that when I was reading. If he wants to go 35's then idk what he will need for it to look and fit correctly.

They all fit the same. My fenders were meant for 2005+ Tacoma's I have a 2012. Mcneil's would be the same. The only difference between the 2005-2011 and the 2012+ until the 2015 is the way the headlights are by the center grill. They are all shaped the same on the outer part by the fenders. Regardless, modifying of the fiberglass is necessary to make them fit properly.

The problem is you have to modify them to fit, and until you do that there would be no point in painting them because the paint in areas you have to modify would come right off.

If they do fit without any additional modification necessary I would be surprised. Though recently a buddy of mine Seans Baja got front and rear glass from them and he had to modify to fit.

McNeil just redid their molds on the Tacoma fenders, mine were a perfect fit. Didn't have to shave or cut any. And it was $100 per item so $200 for paint. Paint looks awesome as well

Really?! That's awesome! Just goes to show you they are top notch! I wish that I would had went with them initially. That's not to say thiamine turned out bad, but I don't need the extra inch of bulge that they have (that's what she said :D ) vs. The McNeill 3".

I also went with McNeil and I didn't have to trim, cut, shave, or anything to make them fit.
