Hello all, there is not an education part so figured i'd place it here.

As the title states im in a intro to film class and we have a paper due next week, no restrictions on what to write about so i am sorta lost on what to write about. It has to be 5-8 pages long.
For my first paper i talked about why the "steadycam" was so important in the earlier film industry and how it brought us to where film is today.

so does anyone have any good film topics to write about?

How about technology like High Definition and 3D?

I have heard from a lot of people how they are tired of 3D films because a lot of movements are exaggerated on purpose for 3D.

3D should be easy. You can talk about true 3D like an imax theater, and fake 3D like a new tv can produce.

Why not talk about the evolution of film and how easy it is for the regular consumer to shoot/edit/create videos. Kids can make full-on edited music videos with special effects with free iphone apps now

How about the proliferation of the Saw type horror movies the past 10 years or so?
