    Almost every truck and car I have ever owned...and I've owned plenty...

    have the fine scratches on the gauges. It really shows up when the sun light hits the gauges just right. Pretty sure it's from the dealership clean-up bunky's who use the old rag that they dropped on the ground to wipe off the gauge cluster. :rolleyes:

    My brand new Tacoma is no exception. I'd like to replace the gauge "glass" in mine...and just may do it.

    This makes me ask?...why don't auto manufactures use real glass for the gauge covers? It's not like it would cost much...or add much weight.
