Well last night I changed all my lights behind the dash...one was burnt out so it needed to be changed anyways and I didn't put the little amber condoms back on. I was going to replace them with LED's or some Xenon super brights but they didn't have them at the local car shop...so I just bought the regular bulbs. Still looks nice but it's not nearly as white as I would like them to be, but I may change them to a blue LED at a later point.

As far as up coming mods...locking tail gate, soon. I'm going to retint the rear window's cause it's got the factory tint and I would really like something darker, a front deck would be nice, maybe some nerf bars, a K&N filter or intake system, maybe a muffler for a little better growl but that's a big maybe, curb lights in the door so when you open the door there is light at your feet (i think those are really trick the wifes beemer has them), a stereo deck and a sub so I can listen to my iPod instead of burning CD's or listening to the radio like I did in high school, but the absolute next thing for me is a security system. I live in a good part of town but I really want to be able to unlock my doors when I walk up to the car, lock them while walking away from the car, and remote start the car on the hot or cold days.

Yeah the list goes on and on. Better give my wallet to the wife before she has to take it away.

Were the 02 front seats different than 03's? Those look a lot nicer than the ones in my 03 DC.

Before you get a CAI or something...read about the deckplate mod! Do that instead, and either add an AFE dry filter or a K&N one.

I would be surprised if a Limited version didn't at least come with a remote entry system. Do you think maybe the entry fob just didn't get passed along to you?

That's entirely possible. The guy I bought it off of was the second owner of the truck. He purchased it off a Realtor in LA that used it as his commuter, and the guy I bought it from used it as commuter between chino and Hollywood so it's entirely possible that in the two previous owners it was lost, misplaced, or stolen.

But I figure that the stealership want's an arm, leg, and my full size spare for a replacement, so I think I'd rather just get an aftermarket setup for less if not a little more, but it will also have extra features other than keyless entry.

Thanks all the compliments guys. Oh and I'm definitely looking into the deck plate mod now.

I came across a recent post about a guy getting a Viper 5301 remote start/keyless entry for his 1st Gen and how much he likes it... check it out.
