I put the Amber LED for Scion in my 03 Dcab. 2 LEDs in the cup holder, A illumination bar under the seats for the rear floor. Wasn't enough room for the illumination bars under the front dash, so I velcroed each light head to the blower box behind the dash and aimed the lights at the floor. Turned out good.
    Your GREEN looks COOL!!

Yeah...I do need to do 2 strips under the hood.

When I get the roll of led's I'll take my time with it and see what will work best. Can't wait.

Camping in the spring is coming and having lights in the bed for loading and unloading will be fuckin priceless!!!

I use to put up my quickshade and run white Christmas lights all under it and pull my truck under it and plug em in to my bed outlet. Worked good!!

Im excited to get this mod done, I'm thinking of using warm white, do you think it will be too bright to have on?

Also what toggle are you using

For inside of truck - warm white would prob be perfect. Not too bright but will get the job done.

For the bed - bright white, clear white, superbright pure white, etc.

    Love my toggles - http://www.oznium.com/scion-switch-led

Had to trim a tiny bit with a razor blade and these fit like factory. LOVE EM!!!!!

I checked my glove box last night since it was dark and I should of probably used 2 but the one LED is good enough.

Under my dash and seats are the 4 light LED kit from Amazon. Easy too install and worked out good.

    That's pleasant.

I have these in my truck now. Just two interior tubes, and the 4 exterior ones.

It's fun shit to do. Running out of places to put LED's so I told my brother to give me his truck so I can put some in there.

The leds look good. I think I'm going to have to borrow this idea and work out something for myself.

Now the question is, what color do I choose?

I received my LED's from the OP's link to the seller on e-bay. I tested them and they all work (for now). These are INCREDIBLY bright and ridiculously flush when mounted!!! They are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the idea of putting two in the glove box. I'll probably put those in with a switch as all the others will be spliced with the dash dimmer control and always be on with the lights. For anyone who is curious:

The orange LED's match exactly the stock amber dash color.
They will dim when spliced into the AC control harness.
They are bright enough that I will only install one pointing down towards the cupholders (mounted in the overhang above the cigarette lighter).

Here's a question: I've already done the 4x4 illuminated switch that's spliced into the AC harness. I'll now be putting these in spliced into the same harness. At what point will these become too much for the circuit or do these draw so little that it's really not an issue?

Not sure but these leds take next to nothing power wise. I have all of mine (12 soon to be 13) on 1 toggle switch and they should be fine.

Post up pics when done.
