Thanks man. I appreciate it. I have a disorder that perfection is awesome and it kicks my ass all the time because just when I think something is nice and clean and perfect, i screw with it again because it ain't perfect to me...I have ADD!!! LOL

Oh well, thats why I detail vehicles on the side because attention to detail.

Wish everyone lived closer..........a few beers and 2 hours of time and I'd have a blast doing this for everybody.

when I was finished washing my truck last week then doing a little detail like cleaning all the way around the door, I realized a cool thing.......I might put 3 white led's under the door in the plastic so they shine on the ground when opening the door  . Even though i have a full light kit under my truck i still thought it would be kinda badass. Hit the keyfob unlock and the leds come on ...hmm

Sorry for my ignorance of LEDs OP, but do these ^^^ just wire straight, hot to hot, ground to ground on the truck? Any resistor, inverter? Thinking about using these as bed lights as well. Just picked up 2 - 12" flexible sets at Wally World for more than these. Mahalo!

    What's up man!!!

So - these came with a plug ready for a dc plug in ready to go.....but i cut the plug off and you have a red and black wire.

I bought the remote control kit so i can turn them on and off from wherever I am....sittin by the campfire and kids want shit out of the bed...BAMM push a button and they can get there own shit..LOL. Dont have to open the truck up and hit a toggle.

Anyhow - yeah...red positive black negative and good to go.

After thinking it thru for a week or two, i'm buying this to put under the rails then putting it along the led strip so it sticks like a charm. It's black so you won't see it and will be strong enough because the LED strip is light.

Take wally world ones back.....unless you can use em in your center console like I did....I love the light inside there....killer at night, I can see EVERYTHING in center console.

This 15 foot roll was from CALI for like $15.00......They are bright as hell and waterproof and whatnot. They are awesome.

How are the 1michiganer leds holding up? I've already burned through another set. Maybe they'll last longer if I don't run them with my parking lights and use a toggle for an as-needed switch. Back to the drawing board for me.

I'm going on three weeks with mine installed that I received from 1michiganer.
Everything works great so far. But then again I have them spliced into my dash illumination, which I keep very low, so the chances of them burning out are even less.
