Just moved in 2 weeks ago. Wife already wants to move...hahaha

The previous owner didnt cut the grass before he left, we had 2 weeks to move in and I didnt have time to do it either. Finally got around to it yesterday.

Found 4 snakes. lol Wife freaked out. It was hilarious. 3 were garter snakes. 1 was a black snake. Nothing poisonous.

I mean, my grass was every bit of 12 inches high. Probably over 2 feet in certain places. I kinda expected to see some snakes until i got it all mowed.

Finally got it all mowed (all 3 acres), and now my 2 dogs are there with us, so that should eliminate the snakes from the yard at least. But it was funny, we just moved in, she saw the snakes, and wanted to leave.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
    Congrats on the house!

My neighbor is selling thier house and not living in it right now, the grass is about the same. I've never seen snakes in our area before, but found two in the last couple of weeks mowing my lawn (just garters). Probably coming from next door, its a jungle in their back yard. Went back there the other day, walking through the grass birds got spooked and flew off, he has 5 ft tall weeds, and a pile off wood up against our side of the fence which I'm pretty sure this is where the black widows keep coming from.

If my wife would have seen that I guarantee you that she would have made me sell the house. She is terrified of snakes, I can't even describe how terrified she is. Lucky last year as we were at camp she did not see the snake that was there, or else we would not have the camp anymore.
