I got a parking ticket for not having a parking permit while I was moving into my apartment here in Oregon.

    $45.

It was just from the complex security though, and I just brought it into the office and they took it out of their system. :D

It's like, dude, I'm towing a Uhaul and unloading my shit outside of the apartments. Obviously I'm moving in.

    Things and stuff and such
    1. county police officer ticketing for no seat belt
    2. county police officer ticketing for 45 in a 35 zone (reduced from 53 mph)
    3. NCHP officer ticketing for 65 in a 55 zone (reduced from 72 mph)
    4. county police officer fix-it-ticket for 5% tint all around and 35% tint on the windshield (paid the ticket and left it on)
    5. county police officer ticketing for 65 in a 55 zone (reduced from 74 mph)

All these occured when I was between 18 and 21 years old. I was stupid. I got pulled over and given a warning at least 4 times as well. I haven't had a ticket in 5 years.

I got one ticket a year and a half ago in 17 years of driving.

Was late for work. Speeding 70 in a 35. City motorcycle cop. He was on the side parked between two cars. As soon as I saw him I pulled over before he even started the bike. He just grabbed his ticket book and walked over to me.

    *sigh*

Court cut my fine in half, I got to go to traffic school and my insurance did not go up.

I'll never do THAT again. :(

Barked the tires a little at a green light once at 3 a.m with nobody around. Apparently the cop was parked a little bit down the road and heard me "racing" someone. Said I was trying to "prove something", and he had to make an example of me. So I received a $160 reckless driving ticket. That was my first and only ticket too.

    a lot lol
I've gotten pulled over about 4 times, and only got a ticket 1 of those times.
    - The first time was when i was 16. I "ran" a redlight, which was complete BS. No ticket. the second time was not coming to a complete stop before turning right on red. the 3rd time was at about 1am on my way back from the movies and he said i didnt get over for an emergency vehicle(4lane). Just a warning. but the 4th was a sound ordience. $328. OUCH!!

I only have gotten one ticket, speeding in my mom's nissan 350z when I was 16. I drove a ford exploder, so I was much too tempted when I got to drive the z. Wanted to do a quick zero to 60, but it prlly wasn't the best idea to do it in a 35 zone. Got the green light and I punched it, got up to 57, saw two motorcycle cops hidden behind a sign....oh fuck. Pulled right over and got a 57 in a 35. OUCH! Came out to be almost 500 bucks after traffic school, but luckily no point on my record!

Got pulled over by my school resource officer in highschool who was apart of the sheriffs department. Didnt stop fully at a red before turning right (was following some friends to get some food). He recognized the truck from school and when he walked up he said "you recognize me" ahah. He looked at my info and insurance, saw that I was 18, asked if I had just graduated, asked where I planned on goin to school and what I was doin for summer. Handed me my ID and said, "just be careful, never know who your gunna pull out in front of".

    Only time ive been pulled.

1 ticket. been pulled over 17 times, i know because after the first 3 my friends and i decided to start counting. most of them were cool, there were a few that i proved wrong and thats how i got out. all in al i cant say anything bad about cops because tho they have pulled me over 17 times, getting out of all that with 1 ticket is pretty good. guess my trucks have jus been cop magnets, cuz i dont accelerate quickly for many reasons, ive never been pulled over for speeding, even though i do. a lot of it has been for stickers, stereo, tint, headlights, exhaust, things like that.

Poll didn't go high enough so just voted 8+. I'm sure it's in 20+ range...........but that's over the span of 35 yrs. Moral of story...don't get them & take defensive driving or hire traffic lawyer to reset it into oblivion if you do. Paying them is a last resort. Keeping the license, keeping the insurance low and have a clean driving record are the objectives. Mostly, just don't do stuff to get tickets, takes away mod money.
