It's funny. Hawaii is pretty famous for having tacos everywhere, but these days, I see more new 4Runners running around town than 3rd gen tacos. Tons of new and used 3rds sitting on the Toyota lot... and quite a few used ones on the Ferd lot
Great choice BTW. We love ours. Trail/TRD Off road with kings>TRDpro.

Thanks! I agree I see a lot of people switching to the 4th gen and 5th gen 4Runners. Some do it for social media while others realize it's actually a better built truck from the ground up!

Gonna rehome the 85 in spring probably. She gets 37s this week. Shakedown run this weekend before Moab next month. Toyota Buggy comes home soon. Gotta make space. And I may get a car in the spring. Constantly shuffling toys around here. :goingcrazy:

No idea on the car. Lots of options. Not enough wagons on the market. :(

Toyota is coming out with a 5 door hatch Corolla :D Also I heard from the head engineer of Toyota he wants to bring back a AWD Celica :woot: Mazda has the cool Mazda3 and Mazda6 hatch/wagon version. Subaru has the Outback, Cadillac has the CTS-V wagon :woot:

I saw the Corolla hatch this weekend when I let Ryan test drive all the things. Not interested. The FRS was intriguing but too loud inside. He also test drove a Camry and Sportwagen TDI. Both were meh. Ryan won’t daily a car, so I told Ryan I’d give him my 4Runner to daily and I’d deal with a car. Will likely go Golf TDI, maybe some sort of Lexus, or maybe go full crazy with a Cayman. Depends on insurance. Insurance is stupid expensive in AZ. I still have 6 months to do my research. I do miss the Lexus wagon sometimes. :(

Ehhhhh. I don’t want 4Runners younger step sister.

My commute is like 2 miles of surface streets and 12 miles of interstate each way. Car seems more logical. Comfort, updated or classy interior, with some power is what I’m looking for.

If insurance is reasonable, hell yes, maybe, uhhhh. I’m too young for my midlife crisis.

Nice! I'm so jealous. I want a T4R so bad. I won't be selling my 1st gen so it makes more sense for me to get a T4R.
