    Lord, very nice 4r,

Could and/or Daria and/or Tom elaborate about what you like about the 4r vs. tacoma?

Am deciding between the two. Wish I could have both, but...

    Thank you!

Comparing to my 2nd gen Tacoma:

It's fully boxed frame, power seats, heated side mirrors, heated seats, better approach & departure angles, rear disc brakes, KDSS, more hp & torque, Dual VVT-i, 2nd row seats recline, optional sliding rear deck from factory, manual transfer case shifter(off road only) and last it's still made in Japan

    Congrats!!! Sweet purchase!

Curious why you sprung for the KDSS System when you know already that you want to lift it and install Kings?

I really love how it road on and off road. The body is very stable around the twisty roads and canyon and it follows the road during off road. Also I don't plan to lift it more the 3" anyways. My buddy with a 16' TEP has OME with KDSS and not one issue. Same with another friend with a Off Road with Kings.

    its just expensive.....

I've never been in one with it so i've never been able to justify it. My folks are on their 3rd 5th Gen and finally got an offroad this time

Yeah it's expensive...about a $1800 option but worth it in my option. I rode in my buddy's 2012 SR5 and didn't think it was all that great until I road in my buddy's 16' TEP equipped KDSS. Night and day difference and sold me with @4x4Runner help

Yeah the fit and finish is amazing. Just closing the doors, you can feel and hear the difference between this and a Tacoma.

You can lift a 4Runner with KDSS, I’m on my 2nd 4Runner with KDSS and 3” suspension lift. It’s a purely mechanical system that links the front and rear sway bars (beefy ones at that) with hydraulic cylinders. It helps with body roll in corners as well as gives extra articulation when offroad.

Thanks bud  A slow build but what I learn on the Tacoma, I'll transfer onto the 4Runner minus the 4 link rear suspension :)

Got the TRD PRO grille after the dealership gave me the running boards instead of the predator side step which was supposed be on it from the ports. Win win since I didn't want the predator steps or running boards. Anyone want the running boards for $100? Pretty much brand new.
