    Hello Tacoma World!

    Sorry Y'all! I got carried away with my post!

    I just got a 04 White 4-cyl 2WD Reg Cab a couple months ago but recently got it registered/insured and it feels great! I really should of got this as my first vehicle instead of beating around the bush with my 03 K24 Acura RSX Type S and then my 03 base Subaru Forester XT.

    While those were great cars each in their own way, what I needed was a fuel efficient vehicle with a bed since I tend to travel and move sheet material and lumber more often than I ever expected while driving those car. You should of seen the ridiculous wooden rack I added on top of my Yakima roof on the RSX to haul 4'x8' plywood and drywall for art school. While the Forester was a little more accommodating, and less of a eye sore when doing runs, it was still a pain in the ass to get sheets especially MDF on the roof by myself. I've been done with school for a good bit now and I still find myself needing to grab sheets from time to time for home projects. And finally I have my Taco!

    I'm really enjoying the ride of this truck since its so nimble and responsive compared to my old man's '13 Tundra Crewmax Limited. It's still taking me a little bit to get used to the body roll and the bench seat otherwise I feel like I'm in a nice basic car with the height and handling. My DJM 2896 - 3/4 drop kit just came in this week and hopefully that helps with it. So far I haven't done any real mods yet but I've been spending time in the forum for things to do before I signed up. I did however bought a good bit of accessories.

    -WeatherTech Bug Deflector
    -WeatherTech Rain Guards
    -WeatherTech custom fit floor liners - which actually didn't have any issues with clutch pedal!
    -Wade bed rail and tailgate caps
    -PU grey leather bench seat cover - they don't have the long notched cover but leather looks like this not stitched that way though
    -(Ebay) FRP Light Weight Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover Kit - honestly better than I expected!
    -Napier Backroadz Truck Tent series 13 - seller gave with truck!

    I don't have a photo to post from my computer yet but I'll have something up soon!

    Mods I'm currently hoping to get around to:
    -Rewiring side markers to turn signals and turn signals to fog lights
    -Heated side mirrors and rear window shield (currently large solid)
    -Change head unit and component speakers
    -Wheels: want a TE37 style rim - considering Gramlight 57dr (need fitment suggestions w/ drop)

    Welcome man. If you’re looking for a drop kit look up DJM suspensions 3/4 drop. They also have a 2/3, 1/2, blah blah but 3/4. Lol you can also do a QA1 coilover conversion for the front & 4 link & all that shit for the rear.

    Edit: just read the part where that came up. Smh lol
