Ok. So I installed my new Firestone Destination A/T's 285/70/17. A little over a week and a half ago. We got 14" of snow down here in WV and I never missed a beat. These are the best tires I have ever put on a vehicle. They cut through the snow and ice like a nothing I have ever seen. I drove out to the farm on Sunday. The snow there was knee deep and I plowed right up the road. The snow was piled up over the hood and still no spinning. Plus, they are damn quiet. Every bit as quiet as my previous Nitto Grapplers. Not only that but I have not lost any noticeable MPG. Frikkin' AWESOME!!!! Pics to follow soon.:yay::woot::taco:

    P.S.

I did have to yank my front mud flaps. Until I get some wider rims to spread them out a little. Even after trimming I was still catching them at full lock. Just enough to annoy me.

I ran these for 10k until I upgraded to 17s and thought the Firestone ATs were amazing as well. They hold up well and grip great in snow, rain and mud. They don't have the same on-road performance as the Nitto Terragrapplers or Revos, but they won't leave you wanting if you drive your truck sanely.

These are the tires I'm going with in 285/70/17 as well. They're less than 150 bux each. Not bad.
