First Carfax Report at 75K Miles

I'm shopping for used Tacomas and came across a nice looking one at a car lot that has a free Carfax for it. It shows that the first owner appeared in 2010 at 75K miles. Is it possible for a vehicle not to show up on Carfax when it was first sold at 0 miles? After looking for trucks for the past couple weeks I'm having a hard time knowing what to take seriously from Carfax reports.

I also saw a Tacoma on ebay this week that looks beautiful and has a nice complete Carfax with no problems at all. I go to look at the truck and find that it is a complete black respray. I pop the hood and see a really aged looking engine bay with faded red original body color. I reported it to ebay but not sure they will or can do anything about it. I think I will contact the local poice near the lot and let them know too.
