Took down my first deer this morning. Just started hunting this season and this is my first ever kill. Wished it was bigger but still a good looking young buck great size, clean kill.

Well long story short, I saw a doe about 30 minutes before but she moved behind thick vegetation before I could shoot. When I first saw her my heart was racing. Then saw her baby and had it in sights but I left it. Just a short while later I took this one out from 25 yards out. No nervous ness at all. Just excitement. When I saw it hit ground I was just pumped.
