So my first flex test went well, except that I hear a disturbing pop when coming back down. It only happens when I presume the axle(s) is/are coming back to normal range.

Any ideas? No issues or noise during normal driving, even with bumps and speed bumps.

    Setup:
    • 880 and 906 coils
    • Tundra 5100s front and rear.
    • Extended rear brake line
    • Durobumps from and back

What's odd is that I cannot see anything out of place and also that the springs are rock solid. Trying to wiggle one while flexed gives no play at all.

Check the rear sway bar links and axle mounts. I broke one of mine the same way. Have seen the stock end links bind up as well- most guys move to 2nd gen 4runner end links after lifting, as they are just a bit longer and work well.

I thought I had put the solution here but I guess not haha.

My could were too short, so I swapped them! No loose coils now! And yeah I got the 2nd Feb links for now. All is well.

I disconnected the front but kept the rear. A reasonable balance in my opinion.
