First Gen production numbers

I have heard form numerous people I have a rare Taco. A '95.5 std cab V6 4x4. Was looking around for some production numbers but a search came up o-fer. Anyone have a link to these?

 

Toyota doesn't give out production numbers on specific models / series. Trust me - I've tried ...

The Regular Cab V6 **IS** a rare beast. It was only offered as a 4WD model from 1995.5 through 1997. It was discontinued with the 1998 model year.

 

Thanks for the info. I spent an hour on google last night trying to figure it out. Wonder why they don't?

those are very rare. There was one near me for sale on CL that had been lifted, armored and had a tube bed swap that was pretty sick. Thats the only one I have seen.

I DO! I DO! I have a 1996 V6 Standard Cab Tacoma with a 5spd manual trans. The only thing more desirable than this in my opinion would be one with an E-locker. YES! Some did come with a locker even before the TRD package came out on later Tacomas. The ONLY Tacomas pre 1998 that were blessed enough to receive this E-locker were all V6 standard cab trucks with a manual trans and 4 wheel drive.

Hopefully the trivia buffs find this interesting....
