I know 4xinnovations makes a heavy duty swing-out spare tire carrier that mounts just behind the tailgate...but for second gens.

    Here is the link: https://www.4xinnovations.com/Swing-Out-Tire-Carrier_p_112.html

Does anything like this exist for first gen's? I'm looking for something that you can incorporate a fold down cook tray into...on top of feul cannisters, hijack mount blah blah blah

I think OP has his terminology mixed up. Looks like he’s looking for a traditional swingout bumper as opposed to a tailgate replacement.

As mentioned above @Snupa ,the member @GHOST SHIP will fabricate you a mean tiregate. I'm sure he can easily customize it to your liking if you want a fold down table and whatnot.

He built the custom sliders on my truck and a whole lot more for other members.

@GHOST SHIP You hit the nail on the head, not looking to replace the bumper as I'm getting a GFC camper mounted.

I'm looking for a bumper mounted...spare tire swing-out...that also has a jerry can holder and a folding tray for cooking. I'm not going to bother you with pricing or anything as I'm not looking to purchase at this moment...just doing preliminary research. If you're still available to take orders when I am in the market I will definitely reach out. Thanks for all the info y'all

Is there a write up on the build of this gate? Or even close ups of what's going on with the latches?

I can take some close ups later but @GHOST SHIP could give you more details about building it (he made it for me)
