Awesome bird and a double beard! It's an addiction. Now that you've gotten one you will want to keep hunting. All I think about is turkeys year round. Haha.

Fantastic! Turkey hunting is very addictive. It's my favorite season & one that you'll prepare for more in order to be successful. Good job!

Not a hunter so forgive me if this is a stupid question, was the bird taken with a bow or a long gun?
Also, wild turkey, taste the same as premium store brand birds?

Shot it with a shotgun. Also wild turkey tastes SO much better than store-bought turkeys.

I have never hunted turkey and know nothing about their differences. But I want to this spring season so badly.
