I'm vacillating on lifting it. If I do, I wouldn't go to high; I would want it to be subtle.

Awesome ride. My dealer keeps telling me no SC for the 11 yet. I'm going to print a picture of your truck and tape it to his desk. How much did it run you, did you put a CAI on it also?

I always wanted to know what those wheels would look like back... As suspected, I'm in love!

    Nice! Very nice!

I'm to jealous to complement the SC and cat-back :D

I know it's not polite to ask, but if you don't mind how much was the S/C + installation?? Im not a fan of those rims on the rental car white...they had a black on black XT on the show floor, the rims and interior trim with TRD mats was the only difference..and go figure it wasnt even 4x4! Overall, nice ride! Wish i could afford the S/C!

They said the TRD CAI wasn't compatible. One of the biggest reasons I got the TRD SC and a new truck was because it maintained the factory warranty. Does anyone know if the URD CAI could cause me any problems with the warranty? Has anyone dino'd there truck before then after the URD CAI?

I don't mind at all being asked what I paid. That's why if you read my previous post you'll see a full break down on #23. Since we're on the subject of politeness; I'm fine with someone saying that they don't like something about my truck, everyone has different opinions. Insulting the color of my truck is a different story. Comparing it to a cheap rental car is rude. Thank you for the complement though.

welcome! the new style trd cold air is compatible because of the carb sticker but they have had a/f ratio problems with it. the old style trd ore the afe are said not to be because of emissions. i have the old style trd with the volant ram air i fitted to it and my supercharger screams. even with 33 m/t's it still moves. i will have headers and a urd y pipe and the 255 fuel pump after next week and also the urd supergrip s/c pulley installed so it will be another nice transformation.

That might be the most impressive welcome intro ever. I like the wheels a lot. I think they look good with the white. SC is awesome. Good job. A small lift would look good on it too.

That looks nice. I see what JKlam was saying about the stock intake covering up the engraving. Have you made any changes to the ECU?

^ no changes to the ecu yet its hard to do any changes to the 09+ ecu because toyota has changed the plugs and have not released them to the public yet so if you want to do any changes you have to cut all your wires so im gonna just wait but whenever it becomes available i will have the apr x-1 for my truck. just save your stock intake and if you have any problems that require a trip back to the dealer just swap them out takes 15 mins max.

^ I thought about doing that but I thought it would take longer. Would I have to change it back if I took it in for normal service, like a oil change?

I did my first fuel up with Fuelly.com and got 12.9MPG. That was a little less than I was expecting but after searching found others getting similar results.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/123735-bad-gas-mileage-city-driving.html

This tank was mostly short trips back and forth from work. On another note; my tail pipe seems to have a lot of carbon built up for only having 500mi on it. What do you guys think? Sorry the pic isn't very good, all I had was my phone.
