First real wash and a broken anti-theft device

    It rained a bunch this past week so I washed it today. Also, I threw some hose clamps on the tailgate to prevent theft; and a couple of days ago I'm driving home, go around a corner, and hear a pop. When I got home and inspected the truck I couldn't find anything until I opened the tailgate and one of the hose clamps was laying in two pieces. Broke the metal clean through. Thought it was weird.

    I'm pretty sure mine were not rated for that use, I got them at Walmart...
