Tell them you will pay the asking price on the 2011 if you like the truck, but asking price has too be the out the door price which includes taxes and dealer fees.

Carfax/Autocheck it. What was the work they did to it? If you can get them down to 18 out the door you did good. If everything checks out of course.

I have a son your age and if he was looking at this 2011 and after reading the add I would say let's get them down to 17K and add a better warranty. For that truck it is worth it. That mileage is just broke in.
you being in western New York the 4x4 and locker will be great for those sticky situations. This is an investment that will pay off. :)

    That is a nice truck.

Nothing wrong with the 11'.. Waiting to hear back on when i can take a look at it. But the dealer with the 06' seems like he wants to work with me. Is it worth working with them for is the question...

Is the 06 the black sport? Is the 06- 4x4 and a TRD off road? Do you go off road camp ect?
Lynlan is right, I recommend trying to get the 11' down on the price. at least 2K. It is a newer truck and the miles are really nothing for a Taco. You are young take the 4x4 and hit the dirt with self assurance you will get home! :)

The dealer wanting too work a deal with you ? they sure seem desperate too sell it too you,I would question what else is up with the truck.Car fax it and see what comes up on both trucks and go from there,I would be asking the dealer on the 2011 what his best out the door price was in the mean time.
