I was with my girlfriend this afternoon, checking a pipeline that runs through the back half of some land we just bought. I went through the first 1/4 mile of it in 4 Hi with no hangups, then the mud got really deep so I put in in 4 lo w/ ATRAC. All was well until I tried to turn around, at which point I got stuck!

I tried the locker, with no success. I tried a hand-winch to a tree, which was an epic fail. What finally worked was putting a plank on the ground, using the crappy factory jack to jack up each tire then put a plank underneath.

    I know, I know...i'm a noob! flame on...

btw...i blame the rugged fails! Cooper STT's will be replacing them this week.

mmm. Louisiana mud. I've been stuck in that before!

Better tires would have helped tremendously.

Yeah, I seriously doubt that would have happened if you had some tires that cleaned themselves better.
