I bought my first Tacoma last weekend. I got a new 2010 Silver Double Cab 4WD TRD Off-Road with the tow package.

First let me say that I wanted a TRD Off Road since the 2nd Gen Tacoma came out.

My only real question is, How do I know if there are any TSB's that need to be done on a new truck? Should I already have the updated leaf springs? Any way to be sure?

Any FAQ I should read and be aware of?

Am I ready to go get muddy?

    Welcome
There may be some TSBs for your year, researching and reviewing the threads here will teach you plenty.
The TSB about the rear springs would be one of them. Its something you will have to research and deside if its worth trying to get.
Then its a crap shoot if your dealer is a willing participant or a major headache.
Yes you are ready to get muddy stock, the only thing you should do is get a good set of AT tires.
Yes i swapped mine with only 4000 miles, i recommend Goodyear Duratracs

If you want TSB leaf spring, go for it before 3 years or 36,000 miles. Try to put 400 to 500 pounds of something on your bed. Drive it and see what you feels like.

    Muddy, go for it! :mudding:
